1. Thermal Performance Assessor

A Thermal Performance Assessor evaluates how efficiently a residential building performs from an energy perspective.

Typical responsibilities include:

Reviewing residential building plans and specifications

  • Assessing insulation, glazing, shading and building orientation

  • Using approved thermal performance software

  • Modelling residential energy consumption

  • Assessing heating and cooling efficiency

  • 100 Points of ID: Participants must complete the SafeWork NSW Evidence of Identity (EOI) form and present original documents showing their name, photo, and date of birth.

  • Age Limit: Must be 14 years of age or older

  • Language & Literacy: Must have sufficient Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) communication and comprehension skills
