HLTAID0119
Overview
Emergencies can happen anywhere—at work, at home, on the road or in the community. The First Aid course provides participants with the practical skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to a range of medical emergencies and provide an appropriate first aid response until professional medical assistance arrives.
Through hands-on practical activities and realistic scenarios, participants will learn how to assess emergency situations, perform CPR, manage injuries and illnesses, and support casualties in accordance with current first aid principles and Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the applicable first aid unit(s) of competency.
At Academia of Trade, we go beyond compliance-based training by providing practical, confidence-building learning experiences that prepare participants to respond effectively when every second counts
