What You’ll Learn
The Traffic Controller course prepares participants to work safely and confidently in traffic control roles within temporary traffic management environments throughout New South Wales. Through a combination of theory, practical activities and industry-focused learning, students develop the skills required to control traffic movements, communicate effectively with road users and work safely within active worksites.
Successful participants will be issued with a SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Training (TCWT) card at completion of course and receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (SOA) for RIISS00054 Traffic Controller Skill Set.
Workplace Communication
Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, road users and members of the public.
Use workplace communication methods, including verbal communication and radios.
Follow workplace instructions and reporting requirements.

Participants need 100 points of ID (SafeWork requirement) - complete the Evidence of Identity (EOI) form and present original documents showing your name, photo, date of birth, the link is below:
Be 17 years of age or over at time of enrolment
Possess sufficient English language, literacy and numeracy skills – LLND
Hold or obtain a valid USI before a Statement of Attainment
Be physically capable of undertaking practical training and assessment activities
Have a current White Card as traffic controllers commonly work on construction and civil worksites
Wear appropriate footwear and suitable clothing for practical training
